A CHRISTMAS CAROL WITH CHARLES DICKENS
Based on Charles Dickens’ own performance script
December 5 – December 22
Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:30
Sundays at 2:00
In his lifetime, Dickens was famous for performing dramatic interpretations of his own work. In what has become our holiday tradition, ISC re-creates (with a great deal of artistic license) the experience. David Melville plays Charles Dickens performing nearly all the characters in A Christmas Carol. He’s joined by a young actress, and what follows is an evening of wry humor, romance and redemption.
With David Melville and (on separate evenings) Julia Aks or Ashley Nguyen.
DR. PINCH’S HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR: AN EVENING OF MUSIC, COMEDY + COCKTAILS
One Night Only!
December 15 at 7:30 pm
We have ways of making you dance! What happens when a minor character from A Comedy of Errors breaks loose from the play? He forms a band, and creates a spin-off franchise of his own. It may not snow in LA, but Dr. Pinch and the very fetching Pinchtones will fill you to the brim with holiday cheer.
The Pinchtones are Mary Guilliams, Jim Lang, David Melville, Ashley Nguyen and Dan Schwartz
